“ They're prices definitely are competitive. My only complaint is that I wish this store was as big as a Walmart super center. I only really go to Winn Dixie when I have multiple stops to make, otherwise I just go to the Walmart super center. Their prices almost match Publix and Target (meaning Walmart isn't great with saving money anymore) but it's convenient - one store for everything versus multiple stops I would have to make because Winn Dixie doesn't carry everything I need. To put it simply - its a great store with great savings but small and doesn't carry everything I need to be a 'one stop and I'm home' store. ”
“ I just finished reading the other reviews of this store. Wow! I don't think I'm shopping at the same store they are. We've been in Florida for almost 20 years and have tried them all - including the ones that went out of business. We always came back to Winn-Dixie because of the quality of the meat and the prices on everything else. Even without sales, they beat Publix quality, and I wouldn't go to Wal-Mart for meat if they were giving it away. In my group of friends I am known as "thrifty", and this store is the best bang for your bucks. We used to go to the store on the corner of Rt. 19 and 50 in Brooksville, but a year ago we moved to Spring Hill, so am now going to Spring Hill Drive and Mariner store. I have never had a problem asking where an item is located, and find the staff to be courteous and helpful. I have always found that if you are nice to people, they are nice to you. I really wonder if the people leaving negative reviews just want to have an audience. Now that we are in Spring Hill, the store is only 5 minutes away (I timed it) - saves me gas. ”

“ This Winn Dixie used to be a Sweetbay for a short time. It's an average sized Winn Dixie that has all of the grocery essentials that one might need, but perhaps less of the promotional/seasonal items that you might see at the large stores. It's always kept clean and organized, and it's much less busy than the Publix across the street. If you just need a few things and want to be in-and-out quickly, this is a much better bet. The employees are friendly and attentive. ”
“ - Meat Prices - Courteous Staff We usually go here for the meats. They are fresh and at a better price than publix and sometimes Sam's Club. The fruit and veggie section has a little to be desired from. It lacks variety and sometimes freshness. Most of the time I will go here for my shopping and jump across the street to Publix for salads and fruits. The staff here are always smiling ... never met personnel that wouldn't help. It is a nice place with great sales. If you're looking to save money ... check out the online flyer first. However, they sometimes they have surprise sales so always check the meats for the great deals! ”
